I like weird and intense movies that have a signature WTF moment or plot.

Movies like Pulp Fiction, The 1st American The Ring, or something like Hard Candy, Old Boy Ichi the Killer.
    Basically anything Takashi Mike.

Still need to see Audition and a Serbian Film.

    Anything else?

    Mulholland Drive

I actually legitimately love the movie, it's like all of David Lynch's weird s**t finally clicked.

Hard Ticket to Hawaii if you want sharknado level WTF. Truly the pinnacle of trash 80's moviemaking.

the whole movie is about this 25 year old motorcycle enthusiast/touring musician who comes to town and seduces a 16 year old girl. i remember that it came out right after ices 15 minutes of fame ended and totally tanked. i actually saw it in the theater. i also bought it on dvd and had a viewing party a few years ago where we just watched and laughed at it the whole time...one of the funnest movie experiences of my life.

it had this surreal, tim burton-esque quality to it. especially when it came to the sets and scenes.

    some great quotes too.

"lookie lookie in kats black bookie"
"drop that zero and get with the hero"
"im gonna go across the street and schling a schlong" - this was about an underage girl, btw.

    and this one...

    - Johnny: A'ight, so how long have you lived here?
    - Kathy: Um, all my life, why?
    - Johnny: What's it like?
    - Kathy: What do you mean "what's it like?".
    - Johnny: You know, having parents and all that stuff.

    EDIT:

i just remembered that there was a podcast series called "how did this get made" and they did one on cool as ice and even interviewed vanilla, who actually had a pretty good sense of humor and perspective about it.
