Currently bored and I like to reminisce about the good ol' days.

So for you ClutchFans, what was your favorite cartoon series growing up? I personally enjoyed Spider-Man and Batman Beyond. Currently there are none that I watch at all because they all suck now.

    Probably Spider-man or X-men.

Along with them, I also loved Batman, Sonic the Hedgehog (Saturday version), David the Gnome (when I was a bit younger), Gargoyles, Captain Planet, Denver the Last Dinosaurs, Dinosaucers (I really liked dinosaurs as a kid) and maybe a few others I'm forgetting. TV cartoons were great back then.

edit: How could I forget TMNT?

    In no particular order:

    Ducktales
    Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers
    Talespin
    Batman the Animated Series
    X-men
    Tiny Toons
    Real Ghostbusters
    Captain N
    GI Joe
    Transformers

I was a bit older when shows like Animaniacs, Darkwing Duck, and Spiderman started, so I'm not quite as fond of them as the others. As for He-man, I think I was a little young when that came out, so it also wasn't one of my favorites. And for some reason I never did like Thundercats. Something about them just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe cause they were a little too anthromophized.

I figure everyone's gonna name all the kid cartoons i liked growing up because we probably all watched the same ones. Basically, whatever came on Saturday morning. So, i'll use my post to highlight a semi-old anime that never gets any shine. Anime is the perfect excuse for teenagers and grown men to watch cartoons. "Look it has violence, it's not made for kids"

Chilly Willy the Penguin, Woody Woodpecker, Disney Silly Symphonies, Looney Tunes (old ones)... Droopy was the bomb too. Tom and Jerry (pre "silent" era) was nice as well. Where have those "real" cartoons gone?

Then G.I. Joe and the 1984 Transformers
