^IIRC there was a falling-out in between Clutch and the site's founder. Dude was basically a douche, you don't mess with #1

Didn't think it needed a thread but I have a suggestion/requist.

Is there anyway Clutchfans could get a "tag" option like on social media. So that if someone mentions you or quotes you in a post you will get an alert or a notification? I'm always getting into discussions with people and if I have to step away for a little while I don't know if or when someone has replied or continued the discussion. By the time I get back, too much has happened in the thread and the discussion is over...

Not sure if it's possible, but I think it's a good idea.

^^ I knew the guy personally, he seems like a nice dude. Didn't know he and Clutch had a disagreement.

 

Yeah, this is the first time I've ever heard of this.

 

My buddy is actually good friends with the guy as well. I don't remember the specifics of what went down, but obviously it was bad enough for him to be alienated from the clutchfans community.

I respect what he's done with his website, but I think I'll defer to Clutch's judgement.

 

Not sure how I landed here but after reading some comments took a sneak peak at that site since i have never heard of it before. That place blows. Zero traffic, zero intelligent discussions. Nothing beats CF as a community.
