Did the Warriors move East or something?? Don't tell me you've already thrown in the towel on this season......
the nba is colluding againist james harden and its sickening. Harden was robbed a few potw awards as well
The media decided to dedicate the remaining regular season weeks to devalue James. https://ftw-usatoday-com.cdn.amppro...atoday.com/2019/04/james-harden-disrespectful
He's clearly a pro-Giannis writer, he was honest about that in the MVP writeup earlier this week - that's his agenda and not really anythign Harden will ever be able to do to change it. The editor who wrote the headline is clearly going clickbaity with the title. Whatever.
Close votes are never going to Harden. He'll never win a close vote. He has to lap the competition like last year or it's not going his way. Maybe next year he'll average a triple double on the #1 seed in the league averaging 35 ppg, but if not, he's not winning. His legacy won't be what it should be. Giannis will win multiple because he is a media darling. I would say he wins at least 2-3. It is what it is.
Tim Legler this morning on the Rockets on the radio (paraphrase): "Well no one is going to beat the Warriors. I mean I wrote them off earlier but Houston will push them the most I think. Really the only reason I say Houston is because they have a guy (Harden) that completely altered the game of basketball through his strength and skill set. He controls the outcome of the game and dictates pace on every single possession. He can make up a big talent void because every single possession, every single part of the game goes through James' hands. It doesn't matter how good you are, because you have to throw your defense and defensive principles out the window against him. Seriously, everything a team does has to be focused on stopping him. That means finding some way to keep the ball out of his hands and that isn't easy because he can score effectively from 30 feet out." How the hell is a player that does THAT not the MVP?
b/c the player that does that doesn't necessarily sell the most jerseys or garner the best tv ratings. it's always, always about bucks (no pun intended), and the rest is just conversation
