    Pretty ridiculous that a superstar in his mid-20s now making $30M per season has to have a teammate confirm on live TV that he 'is going to play defense THIS year' ...
    As if putting forth >0% effort for half the time he is on the court should be viewed as a bonus Harden is giving us for free ...
    Because $30M doesn't already guarantee max effort year-round, every practice, game, possession ...
    Kinda like a housewife with no kids living in a mansion pledging to her husband that she 'is going to cook THIS year'

    Well when everyone in the media bashes Harden at every chance they get I like the fact that his teammates are sticking up for him. Especially when there is worse defenders in the NBA who don't get a peep said about them ( Curry, Irving )
