Eric Gordon - The most important bench player in the NBA.

Gordon as had his ups and downs shooting the ball and handling the ball, but when he's on his game he's such an integral part of our success. Especially when he's mixing in long bombs with those drives to the basket. Just adds another dimension to our offense.

 

I've been saying for awhile that Gordon shooting with confidence and making 3s is the difference between the Rockets being pretty good on offense to historically great. Nobody, not even the Warriors can stop us when Gordon and at least a couple more of our other role players are locked in and making their shots.

That said, he's really inconsistent. You absolutely ship him out if that's what Morey needs to do to get LeBron. Gordon's best games are LeBron's decent games when you look at overall value.

 

He’s an underrated defender. That dude is like a rock when people try to drive into him.
