Texans won’t have a top 10 pick. We can bounce back. BUT even if we did, you trade back and get more picks. If we had a top 5 pick, trade back a few spots and get Greedy Williams.
love this kid but we need an LT if you want to keep the qb alive and a cornerback. Seahawks pick for brown could be an early 2nd round pick. Unfortunately I don't trust this head coaching staff with offensive linemen as there is no system just uggs. uggs is not a system but an avocado ice cream legend. Once we stop focusing on versatility up and down the line and begin incorporating a scheme that requires unison, we'll be much better for it. I said this in 2014 don't know how well it plays now in 2018 but what I loved about that kid, kubiak's system, is that in 3 seasons he could build an offensive line with hard workers looking for work at home depot. We're entering season 5 and our line continues to be one of the worst . Granted, the malcontent #76 set us back a couple of seasons but it's still not an excuse to let go of brandon brooks because he isn't versatile enough. systems are a big deal.
Jonah Williams from Alabama and Greg Little from Ole Miss are top 10 worthy olinemen according to the way-to-soon mocks.
Texans will have some decisions. Take someone like a Baby Bosa, or take an offensive lineman, or a corner. If you take a DE, do you let Clowney go?
Every single pick in 2019 needs to be an offensive lineman. Period. A whole new line needs to be formed.
From what I can tell our defense has really only had one maybe 2 bad halves in 3 games. No team has scored 30 against them yet and they seem to score mostly in the 1st half. The running game can be helped with better line play. Coaching........well....you're absolutely right about that part.
Ohio State junior DE Nick Bosa (abdomen) will not play until November according to his father, John Bosa. Bosa was ruled out for Penn State on Saturday with the injury, but it sounds like we're not going to be seeing the All-American back on the field for several more weeks. "Nick had major surgery," Bosa told Ari Wasserman of The Athletic. "Now, he had surgery with the best surgeon for the core on the planet (Dr. William C. Meyers in Philadelphia) and it’s 100 percent fixable, which is the beauty of it, but he’s not even getting reevaluated until November." Ohio State's loaded with quality players on the defensive line, but this is a substantial loss for the Buckeyes, as he's one of the very best players in college football. We'll also have to see how this changes his draft stock, with many believing the defender is the favorite to be the first pick in next year's draft.
I'm fully on the Ed Oliver train after reading his story on Bleach Report. Dude bleeds Houston. https://bleacherreport.com/articles...er-finds-himself-in-the-jadeveon-clowney-zone
This guy is really impressive. Looks like a linebacker that weighs 290. So athletic, the Aaron Donald comparisons make a ton of sense. Would be cool for both sides if he was able to stay at home. I still feel like we’ll win a couple too many games to get a top 5 pick..
