Hopefully Lebron will break the Warriors from the inside now.

No one is going to drop max money on Green next summer and he knows it. So what's the next best thing to do? Sign with Klutch Sports and get paid by the Lakers when they strike out on big free agents this summer.

To be fair Draymond is the kind of dog a star like Lebron (or any other star tbh) needs.

Draymond and Lebron on defense would be terrifying they can switch on everybody from pg to center.

    Can actually see that.

Draymond and Klay head to LA. Durant heads to NY. Curry is now the sole survivor.

Draymond would be the best "dog" he ever had though if any role player deserves to get paid it would be him.

Yeah and he is still a top player in the league dunno what your point is.

That's what makes Lebron special his longevity of excellence is what puts him above a lot of other players. MJ won every time he went to the Finals but he has never been to 9 straight Finals and in fact had to take a break every 3.

I think Green's production will drop off soon. And every player that's played with LeBron had his role marginalized just to fit in with the King.

Hats off to Green if he can get that max deal though.

He is. No doubt. I don't think anyone is arguing or debating that.
But he's not as good as he used to be. His injury earlier this season lingered longer than others in his career.

So when we talking about free agents joining LA.. What is LeBron going to be like next year? Or the year after (when AD is a free agent)?
He's still a top player in the league, but for how much longer? That's something that free agents have to consider if they are looking at going to LA

GS offered last summer 24 million per season, rejected by green
    Green wants 226 million supermax.

    Lakers
    Davis 240 million
    Lebron 160
    Green 160
    Solomon hill
    MLE 5.5 million
    Vet min with good players

    Enough to win west?

Unless he wins the DPotY award, I don't believe he can even qualify for a supermax. He hasn't made enough All-NBA teams in the past few years, so it would have to be the MVP (no chance, obviously) or the DPotY to qualify.

It'll be interesting to see if the Warriors offer him a normal max deal, with Thompson lined up for a max deal himself.

A lot will depend on what Durant does, obviously. They'll offer Durant every cent they can, but if he leaves, it suddenly becomes much more affordable (and necessary) to max out Thompson and Green and keep them both.
