I really liked him, and really hated him, and I usually don’t use the word “hate” to describe players. I save that for certain refs and use other adjectives to describe players I can’t stand. If you were a fan of the Rockets in the early and mid ‘80’s, however, it was damn near impossible to not hate Larry Bird when the Celtics played us.
