    Perhaps I missed it but seems strange that Clutch hasn't tweeted a peep about this huge international story. What should we read into that? Heck of a time to go on vacation.

    Seems rather weird for a forum to have official stance on a sensitive topic.
    No one benefits from it, unless you are a politician, and we’ve seen them commenting on NBA more than ever the last couple of days.

    It may have started as a Rockets fan forum originally, but over time it's evolved into a source for Rockets related news. Clutch regularly reports on trades and league happenings as they relate to our team specifically. Odd to be sitting this one out completely, not even reporting the basic facts sans opinion.

    As far as I can tell, he’s allowed people on this forum to voice their opinions about this topic freely. Putting out a stronger message that could jeopardize this site’s relationship with the Rockets franchise would be unwise, IMO.

    The overall sentiment here is pretty much what I'm also sensing from reddit nba or any other casual fan message board. Basically Morey has the right to speak his mind - and China is overreacting with its NBA ban. However behind the scenes I'm sure certain NBA guys are worried about the financial impact if China really does do something extreme like censor all NBA content. That's $4B less in total revenue the NBA has to pay out - which I'm sure certain players won't be happy about.

    The real losers? Chinese NBA fans who have no interest in politics whatsoever.

    As much as the general sentiment of the posters on here who are actually Houston Rockets fans is that the Chinese administration has the thinnest skin AF, Clutch probably understands this and does not want to do anything to continue the snowball effect. China is acting like my Asian mother in that she's exploding like a volcano right now, and no amount of logic will win the day. Just ghost her for a few days until she passive aggressively realizes she's made a mountain out of a molehill and decides to pretend like nothing ever happened.
