Watched the Director's cut of the Gerrit Cole Press Conference, and whoa, wait until you see what was left on the cutting room floor. The scene with Charlie Morton and Altuve's augmented reality just gives you chills and drives home the plot with added motivations for the trade. The sunflower scene better explains why Brian McCann was compelled at 6am to dig and tear up his yard, searching for more meaning in life, and then cooking two eggs with bacon, I mean, over-easy, when you see it, the director's cut, it will cement the legacy of the Gerrit Cole Press Conference as one of the greatest press conferences in the entire history of press conferences.
