I'm sorry, I guess I was mistaken in remembering the Keuchel we saw earlier in the season and biting my nails during the game thinking we might see the return of that. Geez, you guys and your condescension.

Yeah once again your own “feeling” is somehow significant to what’s really happening in reality

There are teams in need of starting pitching that have big money (Yankees and Red Sox to name two) that would love a consistent lefty in their lineup. Somebody is going to throw a ton of money at him. He's the second best pitcher by WAR available in the market.

I agree someone will throw money at him and over multiple seasons.

I just think that he gets south of 130 million. I think he may be stuck with a 3-4 year deal.

Yes . The only thing I disagree with Hinch on today was that I thought he should have left Kuechel in longer

My prediction is that any team that guarantees Dallas Keuchel more than $70M will regret it.

What if they guarantee him less?

Not anymore he needs to go back and watch what he did as a Cy Young winner because he is not all that great these days.

Keuchel was not the problem this series. He gave up less ER than all SP except Verlander in game 1 when he also gave up 2 ER. I still trust him in pivotal games.

Keuchel isn't the guy that is gonna compete for Cy Youngs, and I don't suspect many teams view him that way either.

Having said that, a guy that can give you a sub-4 ERA for a full season has a lot of value (moreso elsewhere than in Houston). There will be enough suitors to keep his market afloat. My guess is 4/75, 5/90 type deal. Too many question marks for a mega contract.

Honestly suspect he will go to a smaller market than people think. The Yankees are in the market for a frontline guy, and DK isn't that anymore.

He'll have to shave his beard to play for the Yankees. I'd shave for a 100 million dollar contract.

    $69,999,999 is OK, too.

Yankees are an interesting name, since most similar guy out there may be Sabathia.
