This suggests he was doing it out of embarrassment rather than publicity or because he's a pyschopath. 1. Why did he need his cousin or anyone else involved at all? 2. Why have fake conversations and keep voicemails? 3. Why steal some random girl's picture from the internet? 4. Why kill her the day you and your parents are suffering an actual emotional difficulty? Besides, who tells their parents about all the random girls they are with in college? Why the need to make up a story in the first place?
She wasn't the love of his life at the time of the accident (altough I agree she likely never was even though he may have grown to care for her), following the story line. Why he didn't visit, IDK.
Better to be an immature 21 year old like most of the rest of the people being drafted than a lying psychopath, I would think.
They knew he was lying to build up his story bc they knew he was tagging other chicks and had other girlfriends. I have no certainty when he knew the truth, but that's of little consequence. Manti loves him some Manti - all about the self-glorification through by trying to look like he's not self-glorifying. I think people like to just be right and the argument is about that. And tbh, while none of this matters in the grand scheme of things, it is a very unique drama in the sports world, so we talk about it here, just like people talk about it on the radio and on tv talk shows.
You're right, I could. But I'm enjoying a bunch of men creaming their panties at what amounts to a plot line on Young and the Restless. It's making the Friday go by even quicker.
That depends on your definition of a relationship. "Oct. 15 was the official date. Of last year. I've known her for four years. So we've been friends."
Ok, then I wonder what his friends and teammates said to him about his online/ phone relationship with a girl he never met in person.
think deadspin or someone reported that teammates were skeptical of this girlfriend. i don't blame any of them for not saying anything, they were lead to believe she was sick/died...i dont think any of them would be like "yo, this girl real?"
"TMZ broke the story ... Ronaiah had intense feelings for Manti -- feelings he channeled through the female persona of "Lennay Kekua" ... Manti's fake girlfriend. Interesting ... two female oriented daytime talk shows have snagged the key interviews in a football scandal."
