I keep hearing, this is the next Brady vs Manning every time Mahomes goes up against another young qb. Mahomes seems to always come out and destroy the opposing team in that matchup.

Deshaun has to come out firing but also, Carlos Hyde and Duke have to step forward as well. Colts RBs killed the chiefs last week.

It's really hard to discuss the next Brady/Manning when Brady still on the field kicking everyone's ass with no signs of stopping. NE's point differential this season is sickening and they've played so pretty decent teams.

People went crazy when Jackson threw for 5 TDs against the Dolphins. He has come back to earth against real defenses.

No it’s not. Watson/Mahomes is the next wave of qbs. You’re telling me Brady/Manning didn’t begin during the ending of another era of great qbs?

Brady won a Superbowl before we even knew who he was and then won another one the following year.

Brady has declined. The patriots are winning games due to defense and weak schedule. Brady is a game manager now nothing more.

He's second in the league in passing yards behind Mahomes.

Because he has played 1 more game than everybody else.

Let's also not ignore that the competition he's played is trash. Redskins? Giants? Jets? Dolphins? lolol.

NE is great & all but they've absolutely had a cake walk of a schedule so far. Steelers (1-4) are a shell of their former selves, Miami, Jets, Washington, Giants are all bad & the Pats were double digit favorites in each of those games. They play the Jets & Browns next, so they won't get any real opposition until the 2nd half of the season. Only decent team they've faced was the Bills where they won 16-10 and easily could've lost if Allen didn't get hurt.

Pats still have Brady, Belichick, & an amazing defense. They're still the favorites until someone knocks them off. But I don't think they're infallible, especially without Antonio Brown (who couldn't just shut up & collect millions). Will be interesting to see how it goes once they face some real opposition in the 2nd half.

    Watson is that dude

Not going to say he’s better than Mahomes.... yet but I find it hard to believe that with that oline KC has that he wouldn’t put up similar numbers. Maybe not 5000 yards and 50 tds but 4500 yards and 40+ tds and 5 rushing tds? No doubt in my mind.

Watson is special when he hasn’t been touched and his oline is protecting him he hits 5 tds a game he’s special his arm Talent is underrated and his ability to slide around in the pocket and still make throws is the best I’ve seen since prime Aaron Rodgers.

Imo that’s who Watson is. He’s not cam
Newton or russel Wilson( stud by the way) he’s the new Rodgers.

Calculated doesn’t throw picks very efficient 69% completion since second half of last year and only 3 picks I think to like 25+ tds he’s a straight baller

    He’s gonna win some rings.

Injured/Hobbled Mahomes and he's still leading in passing yard vs Watson. That's pretty impressive.
