I agree with that there are times he needs to just check it down even in that clip you can see 1 or 2 quick check down possibilities. Get at least 1-2 yards out of it instead of going for the big play or sack. I'm more curious seeing how the play developed and seeing how quickly/slowly Watson is going through his progressions.
https://es.pn/2pafHeb We must do anything and everything to help this kid what a special special player.
PatDStat speculated on his podcast that Watson's poor stats at home could indicate he is distracted by things outside of work
Definitely a massive improvement in Watson making the quick read instead of hoping his o-line protects him long enough for deep routes to develop every passing down which is an impossible task.
2nd Houston QB to post a perfect passer rating, joining Houston legend Chris Chandler He also ties Goff last year for most pass attempts (33) while posting a 158.3 rating. 3rd most passing yards. 1 of 13 to do it while throwing for 5+ TDs. 75th QB to do it in NFL history.
Lol, how many snaps did he have because I'm assuming it's one of those extremely small sample size cases.
Nah, Watson definitely made some improvements that resulted in no sacks. Watson has a tendency to always look for the home run pass instead of settling for quick routes. He made quick decisions today. Extremely impressed.
Come on guys, look at the teams he did good against. What are their records? If he goes to Kansas CIty next week and put up 56, then I will believe in him more.
