I figured a good old thread would do me, but I didn't find one with my noobish search skillz. So, I'll ask. I got a speeding ticket and got permission from the court to take defensive driving. It's been perhaps 15 years since I've done this, and I think the technology has changed. Last time, I watched a VHS tape from Blockbuster and filled out a bubble sheet with a pencil. My understanding is that in Texas, it's supposed to be a 6 hour course, and with the online course the technology is there to actually force you to waste 6 hours of your life doing it. They set a timer for each screen. Likewise, live courses will take the full time or nearly so, and you add the inconvenience of having to go somewhere at a certain time. So, is there any loop hole left that can let me speed through this process (like I did through that speed trap)?
Online course, just hit play on videos and walk away, or wait until timer counts down on the page and hit next while your doing something else.
Online course is a joke. I'd play a mobile app/binge watch WestWorld and passively listen to a 60%+ score.
This appears to be the consensus conclusion of this thread -- do online with 10% of my brain. I guess I can stomach that. Thanks all.
When I took the VHS course nearly 20 years ago, they asked questions that you'd only know the answer to if you watched the video. There was a scene with a news anchor, and a severed hand holding a piece of paper dropped from out of frame onto the anchor's desk. The question was something like, "Who gave the anchor get the breaking news report? A. An intern, B. A producer told him about it in his earpiece, C. A severed hand".
yea it's super easy. just let the video play and come back in an hour and answer it. it's all common sense questions regarding driving
go to home depot and give a "day worker" 40 bucks and let him do it in your shed. The laptop WILL require sterilization due to all the pr0n he watches but problem solved.
