Will you also scream "fire" in a movie theater because you misinterpreted an anonymous online forum post?

The @sugrlndkid seems to suggest that hospitals have build up a surge capacity in anticipation of Covid19 spike cutting out non-essential procedures to save lives in case it is needed. S/he is unhappy with bureaucracy behind the proceedings.

What did media do? Even if they overhyped something (for sake of argument only), why should media suffer for it? We have the highest government official charged with protecting Americans, tell them lies day in and day out to such extent that citizens ignore him now and he can no longer protect them because he spouted too much BS and they tuned him out.

I don't hear you screaming "down with the POTUS." Ever hear of such admirable human qualities as consistency/logic/integrity?

With power comes great responsibility. Hold the president accountable instead of bringing back up the idea that pandemic was all a hoax at the first sign of it letting up.

USSC upheld the republican position on a 5-4 ruling. Bet you are shocked...

I would be as it's not possible. Why would the USSC rule on something that is clearly a state issue?

The right to vote even in a state election is protected by the US Constitution, voting rights act etc.

They intervened not because they didn't have the power, they intervened to rig the game in favor of team R. Like always pretty much.

This is John Roberts legacy, along withTrump and Moscow Mitch he pretty much goes full Kavanaugh on democracy for non-whites. He's an accessory

I don't think Wisconsinites need to accept the election. Forcing people to vote in a plague when it's basically illegal to go outside is third world banana republic ****. Imo anything is justified here.

Mouth breathers will do their duty during a plague, then get themselves and others infected. I gotta admire the determination if I can't comment on the willful ignorance of the situation.

Hope people are getting ready w/ their absentee ballots.

Anyone with a home internet connection should be able to get one.

    [Educational Post]
If Democrats didn't have a well documented history of cheating in elections, then we could actually do something like internet-based voting. But Democrats are emotional, unethical creatures, incapable of taking on a responsibility that requires integrity.

Democrats are against Voter ID because they send people to vote multiple times... which is why they are opposed to cleaning up the voter rolls... and now they want to cheat with vote-by-mail and ballot harvesting. Everyone knows their game -- it's quite amusing how some still fake like they don't know cheating doesn't occur. Fake people kinda went out of style when Obama's legacy was rejected by voters...

    GOOD DAY

I meant registering for an absentee ballot through the internet.

Voting through the internet is not up for primetime for reasons outside your tired accusations.

Your boy's boy loves hacking election systems.

I don't want to wish Corona virus on anybody but given that the Wisconsin state Republicans are suing in order to expose people to it I hope those irresponsible ****ers do their part to generate herd immunity.

He's been on a roll since this thing started, I pretty much never respond to the guy, he's just posting for attention.

But I get it, I wouldn't call those that reply to him stupid, sometimes it's just hard not to take the bait.

I just checked it was the Wisconsin Supreme Court, not the US Supreme Court.

You still read Sean Davis tweets after he's been wrong almost every step of the way. Get some standards, man.

Edit: Just remember this when Trump is up on a podium crowing about how he kept the death count down. We likely won't get an official tally until next year at the earliest and it will likely omit many deaths that weren't attributed to Coronavirus because many aren't being tested after passing away.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/05/us/coronavirus-deaths-undercount.html

Official Counts Understate the US Coronavirus Death Toll

A coroner in Indiana wanted to know if the coronavirus had killed a man in early March, but said that her health department denied a test. Paramedics in New York City say that many patients who died at home were never tested for the coronavirus, even if they showed telltale signs of infection.

In Virginia, a funeral director prepared the remains of three people after health workers cautioned her that they each had tested positive for the coronavirus. But only one of the three had the virus noted on the death certificate.

Across the United States, even as coronavirus deaths are being recorded in terrifying numbers — many hundreds each day — the true death toll is likely much higher.

More than 9,400 people with the coronavirus have been reported to have died in this country as of this weekend, but hospital officials, doctors, public health experts and medical examiners say that official counts have failed to capture the true number of Americans dying in this pandemic. The undercount is a result of inconsistent protocols, limited resources and a patchwork of decision making from one state or county to the next.

So... here's the line of people being put at risk (needlessly, had the courts allowed a delay and/or virtual voting). Hopefully no cases of Coronavirus result in this, if there are... the republican party and republican-supporting members of the court are responsible.
