well there's something brewing between the two.

if it comes to a fight, i'd put all my 401k on Connor.

well, in that case, i'll pledge a 1000 to tipjar if the fight evver happens hehe.

Floyd will never be in a fight he knows he will lose, let alone have his ass kicked which would inevitably happen.

Floyd has nothing left to prove, and why the f would he fight mma style?
If you think McGregor would win in a boxing match you're clueless.

They should settle it by doing a duathlon of figure skating and chess.

I am referring to a real fight (mma). McGregor isn't a boxer. I won't deny that no one can run around a ring and avoid contact quite like Floyd, he would obviously win that situation.

Boxing is totally pointless to me honestly. MMA is a much truer test of skill (at least today it is)

Completely different sports, but think most would consider boxing to be the one with more skill involved (as rushing into an opponent will get you knocked out and the fights are much longer and tactical).

But MMA isn't a real fight either.

It is closer than boxing but there are still rules that stop it from being 'all out'.

The original post says "fight" and not "boxing match" so that means it's either a street fight or MMA rules meaning that Connor McGreggor makes Floyd his b****.

I don't like Mayweather, but you act like Mayweather wouldn't learn how fight on the ground if there were a fight between them. He is also arguably the best boxer of all time and is a once in a generation athlete. You give Mayweather 6-12 months to prepare and he would destroy McGregor in seconds. Did you guys see how many times McGregor got hit by Mendes who is a wrestler who doesn't have much of a stand-up? Mayweather would hit McGregor twice as hard and twice as often.

You're being too SwoLy about this. A "fight" means one vs. one combat in any of the sports where there is physical aggression. Yes, it means Boxing. Yes, it means MMA. Yes, it means CHESS.

While you're at it, what is the definition for "met in town"? And is it synonymous with "made a phone call to someone in another state"?

Precision beats speed. Connor was toying with Mendes. When he fought Aldo, he was dead serious.

One thing for sure, Floyd will wear a running shoes if ever they meet.

Best boxer of all time? yuk!

I don't get why mma fans say stuff like this? You can't like both? "truer test of skill" lol

boxing is pointless but in two of the recent highest profile fights in UFC, were ended with basic boxing skills (Rousey/Aldo). Hell, with basic boxing defense, the fight outcomes would have been different.

when was the last time he beat somebody with his kick/feet?

i don't think Floyd will enter into a ring with him, unless it's WWF. :)

Running shoes? Like when he stood right in the pocket against Canelo and made him scared to throw?

"met in town" is not the same as "made a phone call." :) Ha. John Lopez [Likes] this.
