    Can't wait to see how Milwaukee defends our 5 out concept and we defend the bigs of Milwaukee (Giannis and Lopez, who murdered Clint in the post). So Milwaukee plays on the side or behind James and then forcing him to drive into Lopez or Giannis. However, with no Clint in the game and our 5 out concept that exposes Lopez to checking PJ or Covington or Westbrook with wide open lanes to the bucket. The game of chess begins...

    Lopez = Russ
    Giannis = PJ
    Middleton = Covington
    Matthews = Harden
    Bledsoe = House

    Now imagine Bmore in the game for Russ, he should get at least 20 on wide open 3s...

    Bucks, Raptors, Celts, Heat and Clippers all capable of playing high level of small ball.

    But agree, those teams will be the most fun to watch and test ourselves.

    The amazing thing is that we are changing our gamestyle throughout the years without ever needing to tank. Goes to show how great of a franchise player harden is.

    I was a big Capela fan and had a hard time accepting he didn't fit with Russ. Af6this latest run I'm sold.

    Rockets used this opportunity to apply the concepts tried and tested over the years in D/G League.

    Rockets are known for their especially aggressive use of the Vipers. “It’s a pretty continuous flow of ideas where the coaches at the Rockets level say, hey, let’s try this,” Morey says. “I think some of the elements of the offense running at the Rockets definitely has an inspiration from what Finch and Nurse were doing down with the Vipers the last four years.”

    Westbrook's role as an offensive center is most noticeable against the Harden trap. Capela would catch the ball inside the arc following a double-team of Harden and quickly freeze, unable (or unwilling) to pressure the defense with a few dribbles toward the tin. Westbrook doesn't share Capela's hesitation. He's excelled at being a decisive playmaker off the double team, quickly burying his head toward the lane with an extra defender out of the play. Rotate one defender to Westbrook, and he's likely to score at the tin or draw a foul. Collapse the defense, and an open three is created with ease.

    If that the Rockets can win it all doing small ball I will be happy but part of me would still like to see the Rockets return to having a dominant big man. So much of Rockets' tradition is the big man with Elvin Hayes, Ralph Sampson, Dream, and Yao.

    The small ball revolution started with the Vipers lest we forget.

    MDA stated he didn't go all out with the Suns.

    Now he is making up for that regret.

    This version was okay but I already want the next next evolution of Rocketball; the one where we finally avoid mental lapses at the end of games, take the layups that are gifted to us, and better understand 3-pt shooting complexity (or at least not shoot 0/27 & 4/25 and take ourselves out of a game).
