ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/10/2019 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 6)

Couldn’t lose Game 5. Simply couldn’t do it. This is why. Another missed chance by the Rockets.

"The splash brothers are back because Durant is out; watch out they're unstoppable now"
"Oh no, they are actually better without Durant; 26-4 or 27-1 or whatever"

We’re ****ed. The 2nd infamous game 6 in 3 yrs

 

Did the Warriors already win 4? Maybe I fell asleep and missed it.

 

THREAD: James Harden checked back in for Iman Shumpert with 7:08 remaining in the fourth quarter. He only took only one shot-attempt, had one defensive rebound, one assist and a turnover for the remainder of the game. Let's look at each of the #Rockets possessions.

Possession 2: Harden/Capela PnR. Capela shorted the roll in Game 5 with how the Warriors stunted off the near corner. Good decision to find CP3, but pass not on target. Capela then flashes inside to flare the defense. Paul freezes Klay and sets up EG for 3 pic.twitter.com/Uu58dFcKeh

I hope it doesn't happen, but based on some of the articles I've read about after Game 5 I wouldn't be too surprised if we came out flat in Game 6. That's always a big risk with demoralizing losses.

 

I’ll say this much, barring anything unforeseen, there are absolutely zero excuses for the Rockets not to beat the living crap out of the Warriors the next two games.

 

You do realize almost none of those statements would be wrong at this point right ? And this is coming from someone confident we could win this series with durant out

 

What gets me is the lack of heart. KD goes down and we play lackidasically, no energy, iso, poor defense, etc. It was embarrassing to witness.

 

Please tell me Vernon will be at the game next to Dream!!!!

 

Durant is officially out for the rest of the series. Durant will be re evaluated again next week. If Rockets can't win now, they never will. Go Rockets.

 

Come on Rockets this ain’t over yet!!!!

He should know it is time to go into attack mode, not sure what he was thinking. At he very least one of his teammates should have told him to go get it.

 

This has been the longest series I've ever watched that I am mentally fatigued at this point. If the Rockets don't pull this off im going to take a long break from basketball. Gimme some Astros.

 

No excuses but I just think Harden was fatigued.
Dudes been carrying the team on his back.
Chris Paul and Capela needed to show up and they didn’t.
I’m not blaming Harden for this one but they have two more chances to get it back he needs all the help he can get

 

Honestly I don't even know anymore how to feel..
