This is what the tweet says:

"The Washington Post which loses a fortune is owned by Jeff Bezos for purposes of keeping his taxes down at his no profit company"

So, the Washington Post was mentioned by Trump and was ridiculed as he said "which loses a fortune". Bezos was mentioned as owning the Post. Trump wrote that Bezos owns it to keep his taxes down at his no profit (I assume he means Amazon) company.

You asked what was Trump's beef with the Post in 2015. The tweet I posted (from 2015) clearly shows that Trump likes neither the Post, Bezos or his 'no profit' company (again, assuming he means Amazon).

Also, considering you quoted my post with the tweet, you clearly did not ignore it the first time even though you said you ignored it. One doesn't comment on something and then later claim they ignored it.

So, since at least 2015, Trump has had issues with Bezos, the Post and Amazon.

No President should be publicly slamming an American company or trying to exert pressure to change the rules on them.

The tweet was about Amazon, one of many

    http://money.cnn.com/2015/12/07/investing/donald-trump-amazon-taxes/index.html

Again he mentions no beef with the Post other than not making money to help Amazon with taxes which was not a beef but a throw away line in his ridicule of Amazon

A beef with a newspaper would imply something the newspaper wrote

I still haven't seen any thing about negative coverage of Trump

Why y'all waste your time and test your sanity in responding to pgabs is one of the great mysteries of our time.

Not denying Trump dislikes Amazon, but there are plenty of articles describing his dislike of the Washington Post as well. Here's one of them.

I'm old so I stay up late and look for something to do. As long as I have my reading glasses and cup of Mirilax, I'm good to go (in more ways than one). It's either this or Matlock reruns.

The first line in @bobrek's post from 2015 was about The Washington Post.

Again there is easily as much evidence about Trump having a personal grudge against the Post for negative press against him as there was about Chavez going after press that printed negative stories against him.

Having a beef against another company owned by the same person doesn't negate the fact that Trump has a beef with the Washington Post.

If you're going to keep ignoring Trump's history and the evidence laid out in this thread and try to turn the discussion away from those facts, then the discussion should end.

The Tweet is about Amazon and taxes
    http://money.cnn.com/2015/12/07/investing/donald-trump-amazon-taxes/index.html

He mentions The Post as a tax shelter for Amazon. He doesn't criticize any content in the post
Bezos even responds to the Amazon criticism and says nothing about the Post cause it's not about the Post

Which is why there are about half a dozen other links where he is also criticizing the Post.

If you are going to adopt a voluntary blindness then that is up to you.

Why was he criticizing them in 2015 when he was already criticizing Amazon. Where is that link?

I think you are having a difficult time seeing the dates of tweets and articles.

Simple ass question. What was he criticizing the Post about when he wrote that Tweet besides losing money.

    TIA

What was the reason that time? There are so many times. If you are referring to the one post that you would like to stay focused on, it is some lame contrived argument about the post losing money. It doesn't really change or alter the charge regarding Trump abusing his power. Try to keep on topic.

    I'm on topic.

His beef with Amazon goes to 2015. The tweet is lame because he didn't have a beef with the Post.

Therefore remaining on topic, his current issue and past issue with Amazon is about taxes and has nothing to do with the Post as the topic of this thread suggests

What he says about the Post is that Bezos bought it cause it loses money so he can pay less in taxes since Amazon makes so much.

Newspapers nowadays lose money so even that isn't a real criticism

That is only one thing he has said about the Washington Post. He's called it fake news, attacked it as being out to get him, etc.

None of that changes that the President is using his position to single out and try and hamper one particular business because of the owner.

He has never called the Post fake news.

He has been criticizing Amazon for not paying it's fair share of taxes since 2015

So again you have no proof that he singled out Amazon because of Bezos. You don't even have Trump criticism of Bezos
