Terrence Malick is a hack. Tree of Life might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen, it's not even a movie and I get the same vibe from this, no thanks

I just can't understand how anyone would like Malick's crap especially after Tree of Life.

Is that supposed to be a movie or a Levi's commercial?

The man does like him some leaves, and close-ups, and following people from behind...

Thin Red Line, and the New World were absolutely phenomenal, in my opinion. But Tree of Life made me angry... for months. It was that bad.

The wife and I still walk around and whisper stupid things in that Tree-of-Life-boy-voice.

"Father, why did you forget to empty the dishwasher. Always you challenge me."

Soooo... would see this one with a free pass, but I think good ole Terrence has jumped the rope swing.

tree of life was frustrating. but there were things that got to me, because of certain reasons.

and i would rather watch that a million times out of a million instead of transformers.

Thin Red Line is the only movie of his i thought was decent. I always fall asleep to The New World. Will have to give it one last try some time soon.
