Wouldn't surprise me if they held Paul out for a while even just as a precautionary measure. Even without CP3, the Rockets should be favored in all but maybe 4-5 games between now and their game on 12/3 at the Lakers.

I'm not saying they'll win 15 or 16 out of their next 20 games since there could be other injuries or the team could take their opponent lightly occasionally and get burned. But get the dude healthy and have him at full strength and in uniform when the schedule gets tougher.

Rockets PG Chris Paul will sit out Saturday against the Mavs due to his bruised left knee. It's the second straight game Paul will miss.

No problem. Let him rest up and get to 100 percent.

Some slight mitigation of this is that Kawhi doesn't look like he will be ready to go anytime soon either

    Anyone surprised?

Not a huge deal if only a month and he's healthy thereafter.

I knew it was more serious than they let on. CP3’s biggest problem has been health you know...

    I.D.I.O.T.

clutch just said in Lin thread that big news should not be buried in player threads. The looking for PG thread is what tipped me off. We need a title with New projected games missed

This is not a player thread. This is not "2017-18 Chris Paul as a Houston Rocket" like the Jeremy Lin thread is.

This is a thread on Chris Paul's knee, Chris Paul's injury & said tweets were on Chris Paul's injury, Chris Paul's knee.
