    Exactly Krispy Kreme.

What was the latin chicken place, 10 years or so ago, where they had lines around the block for roasted chicken?

Pollo Campero -- 2002 in Houston, first store in Texas. Now it's bigger than Los Pollos Hermanos. I think they have too many locations in Houston now to have lines. Or maybe their quality has gone down with such huge, global expansion.

Some nostalgia: Here's @Rocketman95 starting a thread about it, back in the day.

I've been wanting to try Mico's Hot Chicken, which is Tennessee-style.

If yall are in Houston you HAVE to try out micos hot chicken. Its 10x better than both of those places combined. Hands down the best chicken sandwitch ive ever had in my life.

If I'm doing chicken, I'd almost rather have a double decker XXXL Grilled Stuft Chicken Fiery Doritos 7 layer Enchirito, and a baja blast mountain dew.

Small towns might be a better bet. We stopped for a couple in angleton a little before 5, no wait inside (still big drive thru line). First bite was excellent, the last bite... well I feel just like I do after a couple popeyes pieces.
