Can we get a separate section for y'alls boy, Tilman's shenanigans? Not all of us Rockets people care about his projects.
Can someone educate me on this? The way I am reading it, Tilman definitely needs us eating more at his Landry's restaurants.
You cared enough to post in here though.. Why didn't you Ignore this thread? Eat at Landry's to push this merger through.. Tilman is about to start paying that repeater tax.
I am interested in this as both a rocket fan and CET aka Caesars is where we do most of our gambling. If the merger goes through as I understand it CET will take over as majority owner of all of Tillman's assets including the Rockets.

For one, I clicked thinking it might have something to do with the Rockets directly based on where the thread was located. I've ignored threads like it in the past, there have been several. But enough is enough, I cared enough about the Tilman junk piling up in the GARM to say something. And now it has been moved elsewhere where it belongs. Hopefully, over time, others will realize that not all Tilman news is Rockets news. NEXT.
Also wanted to add Caesar's stock (CZR) is up over 5% today on the news so investors seem to think that taking over the Rockets and other assets that Tillman owns would be a good move for CZR shareholders.
This has everything to do with the Rockets because if this merger goes through CZR will become the majority owner of the Rockets.
But Tilman personally owns the Rockets, not Landry’s or Golden Nugget. He used a Bond sell to pay himself via liquidating equity. Landry’s/Golden Nugget pays the bonds back, so Caesar’s would be merging those notes, not the Rockets, which he bought from paying himself. Seems they could carve that out, because otherwise, they’d have to get approval from the league office for change of ownership, right? And it is HIGHLY unlikely the NBA would approve a Casino owning a team. Seems Casino owners personally owning a team is different than a Casino Company owning one.
