I come here for news. This happened this morning Yall are slipping https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1005336
Yea I think this is the story where she said she was pregnant, resisted arrest, tried to grab his taser, resisted more. (And no she wasn’t pregnant, who would have thought that people with multiple warrants would be liars) I have no issues with the cop here.
I have different opinions on these different incidents involving blacks and police. To me this video does not look good but if the woman got a hold of the taser its hard to defend her other than it never looks like he needs to pull the taser. He did have on his body cam so we should get a better perspective
I don't think I would shoot someone who grabbed my taser. What's frustrating about this is the officer was her neighbor. He would know she has mental health issues and should have approached things differently. She didn't have to be shot down.
I hope citizens are held to the same standard of "fearing for their lives" as LEO. If I discharge my weapon I should get the same benefit of the doubt.
I'd say in probably over 50% of these cases, the shooting is preceded by a taser that doesn't work for whatever reason. When will someone finally develop a bonafide stun gun? Spoiler
So now cops can't subdue a woman without tasing them? And there were 2 of them? i really want to know what is taught in the academy now.
