no. we have no player better than springer to put in his place. like @RocketManJosh said, his play in CF was yuge. Might've even been the play of the game to me honestly.

I'm counting on him to have another play or hit in game 7.

You do realize that his defensive play saved the game? No, he's not getting benched.

Nope. He, Marwin and Reddick are solid in that outfield and helping with the defense. With our bullpen, we'll need all the defensive help we can get.

And people acting like good players never slump. When this dude starts hitting people will be singing his praises.

I will also that his ABs tonight looked better than they have. Before he was just swinging for the fences like he was desperate. He got an important walk tonight, and look like he was swinging with a little less desperation.

Seriously! I'd think about sitting Reddick before anybody since he never left Boston but at this point I think we should just ride it out and not make any drastic changes.

This is why defense is so important.

It's always more consistent than offense, and it's something to fall back on when the O is struggling.

The entire outfield is a giant goose egg. But we need their defense. It tempting to shake up the BO some though.

I'd move springer to 2 and altuve to cleanup .

Springer tends to have a smaller swing in that situation .

If you can just get something out of Springer and Reddick tonight you would have to feel good about winning tonight.

Come on boys, it is time to shine. All can be forgiven tonight.
