I didn't see a thread on this show, but there needs to be some buzz around this. Season 2 is finishing up airing on Starz and this is a show that I have been sucked into and cannot quit. It is kind of miniseries format, so only 8 episodes. It is first and foremost a GREAT detective show. If you enjoyed True Detective (Season 1 obv) you will enjoy the show. However, this is very hard subject matter. The main plot revolves around child abduction. It isn't easy to watch this show. There are scenes that will leave you gutted. Just finished Season 2 last night and I would put it right up against True Detective S1 in terms of suspense and intensity. It doesn't quite hold up to TD in terms of overall writing and acting, but the performances are outstanding. For amateur slueths, this is a thriller with a non-linear plot structure that leaves you with just enough information to make you crazy to find out what happens next. Highly recommend.
