From what I'm hearing (from pretty good authority), Baylor decided to announce this now instead of after the season because A&M feels pretty confident Sumlin will leave and wanted to go after Briles. This guy has also been right about A&M/SEC before it happened and Tech hiring Kliff before the media broke it

I think it's pretty obvious that they were worried about him leaving for UT or A&M this offseason.

That is what they're saying... but, they are really just tailgating and watching some good big12 football of the year. You should check out the setup, they have some of the best bbq.

Good move by Baylor. Briles has made Baylor football relevant for the first time since the SWC.

Everyone loves those helmets. Except for you.

Edit: Anyway, Baylor opens as a double-digit favorite on Saturday.

When is Seastrunk supposed to be back? Amazing that they didn't seem to miss a beat losing their #1 RB and #1 WR.

Shock Linwood is the real deal.

Hell that other freshman (Devin Chafin) RB was running all over Tech. It looks like he has power and speed too.

Saturday night. 7:00 p.m. Stillwater. National TV.

With a win, Baylor probably jumps Ohio State and becomes next in line for the BCS title game.

It shouldn't work that way, because Oklahoma State sucks. If Baylor is ranked #2 it should be for something else, not for beating that crap team.

well they wouldn't be ranked #2, they'd be ranked #3.
