The big question is: Is he really OUT, or is he "out" like Corey Lewendowski is "out"? If Bannon has bad blood for Trump on his way out, he could destroy him, and take away half of his base. I doubt it honestly because their agenda is still aligned in alot of ways, but I anticipate some interesting "leaks" in the next 48 hours. This won't change much though IMO unless Bannon wants to do so which I have my doubts since... again... their interests in Nationalism are still aligned.

Earlier today, the DOW was nearing negative 100, rumor of the Bannon firing reversed the trend. now that his firing has been confirmed, DOW has turned positive. the anti-Semi white supremacist getting axed means that Gary Cohn, the former Wall Street fat cat and current National Economic Advisor to Trump, will stayed. that bodes well for business-friendly policies and wall street. btw, according the the NYT, Bannon had actually submitted his resignation on 7 Aug; the Charlottesville incident had delayed the official announcement.

it isn't so much that Bannon was fired. the bigger story is that Gary Cohn will likely not quit. Cohn not leaving bodes well for Wall Street and the stock market. record-high stock market, besides the Supreme Court Justice selective, has been the only positive accomplishment, to date, for Trump.
