on the other hand i actually love egos driving game, he has showed me he can get to the rim consistently however for whatever reason often he is not willing to drive/perhaps due to bad health/ and just keeps chucking 30 footers that is why i dont like his game

also i feel rivers is far less turnover prone and its a big thing to me for these rockets

 

The one thing that separates the MJ’s and the rest is their mental toughness. EG has all the skills to be a perennial all-star. Yet, he still got that bench mentality. Keep his ass in the bench! He loves coming off the bench! Don’t start his ass. If he wanted his own team as a superstar, he would have pulled a James Harden and got out the bench a long time ago! Mental road block. He’s bigger stronger than a l out of the guards out there. He’s like a mini tucker size-wise.

Where did Austin "40 burger" Rivers go? I thought no one could leave the NBA bubble, but this dude straight up disappeared.

Like I said after the game, his previous career high was against the Rox like 3 years ago. I remember yelling at the TV about Austin Rivers going off on us. This will go down as an aberration with Corey Brewer's 51 in the "Harden doesn't play defense" years.

 

I for one hope not.

We need Rivers to pull another one of these performances against OKC.

Remember when CP3 and Rivers were feuding, I hope he does and that inspires him to break his career high in this series.

 

Prior to him joining the Rockets, he played for his dad.

 

Actually he played for the Wizards then was traded to the Suns after his Clips tenure and before the Rockets.

 

I mean he's capable of it (we saw it with our own eyes) but I'd never bank on it.
