Hoping to catch my first show up here in Calary tonight or tomorrow night. we actually have clear skies for a change. Any advice......... http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-solar-storm-20120307,0,1292439.story
You must view the aurora borealis in shorts and a tshirt. The objective is to determine at what point the sheer and unique beauty of the aurora ceases to be enjoyable.
Huh...I'm in Calgary, too. Spending tomorrow night in Louise...maybe I will see it after apres ski...
after after ski...... I'm off to Whitefish this weekend, but Banff next weeked (although true, that's "big" talk from someone who has never been on a ski........though it IS coming).
Tonight may be an awesome night to catch them. There was a Coronal Mass Ejection yesterday that is hitting the earth today. It should enhance the effects of the lights.
