Just because I was curious if I could figure it out, I finally got Kodi installed on my Amazon Fire Stick.

Still trying to figure it out and everything..

If you use it, what are the best add-ons? And why?

    Thanks folks!

I use it (XBMC). Obsoletes the need for downloads any more.

Just use the fusion installer here for all of your addons: http://www.tvaddons.ag/

It's pretty cool for something you need to watch right now or live sports. I still like to own my movies. Streaming can be a pain and I'd much rather just buy or download a copy and watch it whenever unless a power goes out or something. If you own a fire stick, this app is definitely a must.

I'm going to try out Kodi on my RaspberryPi. I like RaspBMC, but I definitely want to try out Kodi from all the things I've heard about it.

I'm running OpenELEC on my Raspberry Pi. Works great for Kodi.

This is a great thread. Now what the hell is Kodi, besides a good name for a pet bear?

I don't know if these terms are technically correct, but it's basically a jailbreak os. Popular on Amazon fire stick. I just jail broke mine last night. Once you get Kodi on there, you can download "apps". These are referred to as add-ons.

They shouldn't have paid him 80% of Moon's salary for 3 or 4 years, once he was injured and his coach left he had no incentive to stay in the league.

I just got it on my tablet to stream sports.

    Download the SportsDevil plug-in.

Now I'm figuring out how to Chromecast it to my tv.

    Current favorite add-ons are

dextertv (really good quality IPTV, including ESPN in 720 and Tennis channel). My current favorite.
Gorilla Streams 2.0 great for sports streams
Genesis seems to best one stop shop for movies and tv series.
Sports Devil if I cant find a high quality stream anywhere else I can always find something here (usually watchable).
P2P Streams and Plexus are the best for IPTV including sports because you can access Acestreams which is all 720 and reliable. But it has been a challenge to keep it working on the pi recently.
cCloud is looking promising for IPTV, but I haven't spent a lot of time in it yet.

I am not able to watch Texans games live due to the time difference here. Would I be able to get these games on Kodi and if so, what add on? Also, are there any sites you know of where I could download the entire game directly or with torrents? This might even be better considering sometimes my streaming media on Kodi lags or has to continuously buffer.

    Thanks in advance.
