Anyone else think starting Keuchel Game 5 is risky?

For the record...I love Lance McCullers...there will be no Lance McCullers slander ever.

But I also loved Jared Cosart, so what the hell do I know?

Gotta start Keuchel tonight. Every game is a must win. Peacock should be first in from the pen tonight, ideally they can win and only use Keuchel, Peacock and Harris. Game 6 will be Verlander with McHugh first in, and all the other pitchers will be available except McCullers and Keuchel. If there’s a Game 7 you go with Mccullers starting and every arm would be available for at least 1 inning, including Verlander and Keuchel.

The bullpen appears to have no confidence, and that may end up being the fatal flaw of this team; no unshakeable vetern reliever. Their late inning arms (Devenski, Harris, Musgrove, Giles) were all untested in the playoffs prior to this season. I suspect adding a playoff tested elite left handed reliever will be far and away the highest offseason priority.

I see your point but we have to cut their momentum ASAP, and we need to wake those bats ASAP. Keuchel's not new to pitching in NY, he got us past 'em 2 years ago in the WCG.

This. Last night showed that he at least has the potential to start a game 7.
