Those are some of the ugliest shots ever taken. His jumpshots had no jump.

He should just focus on being a better rebounder and rim protector. For offense maybe like a jump hook

forget the jumpshots, it's never going to be used

This seems like developing the outside jump shot is not the best use of time.

Your analysis of our player’s performance is routinely off the mark though, so watching the game clearly doesn’t help you all that much.

A knowledgeable fan could watch a game without looking at stats and generally know who’s doing well. The thing is, with those kinds of fans, the stats routinely agree with their assessment.

If you’re constantly watching games and the stats never agree with your ideas, then guess what? You’re just bad at analyzing basketball, and you don’t improve from watching more often.

Capela is 25 and has improved every season as a Rocket. 16.6 points / 12.7 rebounds last season. If he gets that ppg closer to 20, he's a borderline all-star. He doesn't rely on pure athleticism. He works to make himself better. I believe in you, CC. ~ Much love ~

His jumpshots are just him taking his FT shot from different locations. Mechanical.

I think his points are more about how much Harden has improved every year. Mostly lobs and a just few put backs for Capela.

Exactly - he just needs a damn hook when the defense seals off the roll! Stop the drive and turn it into a hook - nobody is going to stop a 7 footer who can do that. Why is he taking these hideous shots?

He regressed last season in three significant ways. His RBD% dropped, particularly defensively. His rim protection dropped from above average to below average. And his ppp as a roll man dropped from elite to above average. I would not view last season as evidence of improvement.

Yeah he’ll be better next year. More consistent.
