He stands up for the guys who get crapped on unfairly like Harden, Jameis Winston, and RG3 to name a few. And he is one of the few not afraid to call out Curry for his garbage defense. I also like Danny Kannell

I think he's walking a fine line( because wiley and kanell come off as anti golden state warriors a little too much), and they might jump to fox like colin cowherd and skip bayless

Marcellus doesn't seem to have an agenda. It's probably why he is still on Sportsnation and not on a better rated show.

When I lived in Socal I'd occassionally listen to Marcellus and Max Kellerman's show. He has a "glad you came to the barbecue! " confident pleasant demeanor. He's Ivy League educated and just straight talks about things knowing he's smart without having to OVER-prove that he is

He'd get funny or goofy talking about himself sometimes, how he's "Dat dude" and "sexy" and talking up his old playing measurables "6 foot 4, 265 POUNDS! Running a 4.7 FORTY!" Just saying its a different approach than most hosts. Doesnt seem like he NEEDS a controversial image to feel relevant.

His takes on the NFL were insightful. I remember him saying everytime you hear an NFL positive report about a player restructing their contracting taking less pay as a "sacrifice to the team" that 90% its PR bull cuz players dont actually get LESS pay, its just backloading guaranteed money forward on remaining years then REPORTED as a "pay cut".

He used to hate on the Lakers and Kobe. (I think he even just did THAT for a Lakers-Clippers rivalry) But hes not gonna sugarcoat either.

He's just a lot smarter than a lot of the dopes on that network that can't think for themselves.

Why the Michael Rappapport hate? He explained that the Aquatica can't take more than 100 tons of pressure, the walls will start buckling, the columns will snap like tooth picks...

Must be upset that Hollywood will never make a Brian Scalabrine movie.

Rappaport's game never translated well to the debate shows. While he's generally interesting and high energy on a talk show, he muffs on the debate shows.

Guilty pleasure is that Shark movie. I think I end up watching that more than I should if no other reason to see the Sam L Jackson kill scene.

About the only thing I liked about Rappaport was his role in Mighty Aphrodite. Playing that moronic boxer was the perfect casting for him.

He may be a ****ty actor, but doesn't seem to have a hard time getting work. Dude has 103 acting credits on IMDB. May not be leading roles, but the guy stays busy.
