This thread has a vibe of the left blaming the right for this shooting. Sometimes i am unsure if we are even worthy of sharing this forum with them because they are so righteous.
Well we all have to own our culture. I mean, I understand the political frustration as one party is opposed to even collecting data on gun deaths, but we have four factors: * easy access to deadly weapons * difficult access to mental health care * epidemic of depression and anxiety in young people * media industry that profits by making people really mad at each other If we could confront any two of those, we could all see progress to some extent.
Another shooter with white nationalist views....Ho Hum. https://www.google.com/amp/s/heavy.com/news/2019/07/santino-william-legan/amp/
Hrmm... not as simple as "white nationalist." Complained in one post of white Silicon Valley "twats," so there's that too. Just very angry and mentally ill kid. We are producing these in record numbers.
That's a stretch to to the him to white nationalism going by that link. he seemed to be all over the place and like he said just angry.
This is really sick... Dilbert’ Creator Scott Adams Tries to Sell Interviews With Gilroy Garlic Festival Shooting Survivors After the mass shooting, he advertised his new app that would somehow let people set a price for their stories—and give him a 20 percent cut. https://www.thedailybeast.com/dilbe...ith-gilroy-garlic-festival-shooting-survivors
It is sick but after watching CNN getting anybody and everybody to recount what happened while benefiting financially from it makes me pause.
It's far too early to politicize this shooting. Thoughts and prayers. See ya'll at the next shooting.
You should just post the mass shooting chart. If white, mentally ill. If Mooslim, Mooslim is evil. If brown, crime infested illegals.
I've never had that outlook, I think you know. I think pretty much anyone who does these types of things -- targeting random strangers in mass -- is sick in the head to some degree, whether it's a white supremacist, a radical islamist, a Paul Wolfowitz, or whatever this kid was (Iranian-Italian-American misanthrope?) The LA Times article is actually pretty useful and fact-filled if anyone's interested. Dude bought this gun in Nevada, where it's legal, and carted it into Cali, where it is not. Reminds one of Wisconsin and Illinois a bit, in that respect. He bought it several weeks ago, so it appears it was more of a plan than just snapping in a sudden rage somehow.
