I guess so. The President of the United States is a p***y grabbing, white supremacist sympathizer. The US has lost its moral authority in the world. It's an embarrassment.

Trump is white supremacist sympathizer in that he merely needs their votes. Like the religious right, those folks vote consistently and are easily mobilized.

He accurately identified groups who could be mobilized because they were emotional. Now that strategy has reached a brick wall...

All media should follow. Call them what they are.

UPDATED Aug. 16: We are adding “anti-Semitism” to the definition of “alt-right;” noting that the antifa movement that has been recently in the news actually has antecedents back to the 1930s; and adding some guidance on spelling and punctuation on the recently coined term “alt-left.” The post below includes these updates.

At AP, we have taken the position that the term “alt-right” should be avoided because it is meant as a euphemism to disguise racist aims. So use it only when quoting someone or when describing what the movement says about itself. Enclose the term “alt-right” in quotation marks or use phrasing such as the so-called alt-right (no quote marks when using the term so-called) or the self-described “alt-right.”

Same way Richard Spencer dresses up like a hipster instead of his Klan outfit.

This is seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Showed it to a few of my marine buddies and they were all cracking up.

Trump's lawyer (John Dowd) joins in on the Trump insanity... echoing secessionist Civil War propaganda to at least 12 people including a senior Homeland Security official, the editorial boards at the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and other conservative media.

Meanwhile, one has to question how much the white nationalism/KKK/neo nazi thinking is now part of today's republican party:

oh yeah, why don't you try to understand what he said in his speech

It seems like you have only heard clips of it along with opinions of RWNJ pundits and have ignored where Obama decried violence of any kind.

Its a shame more Trump cabinet and administration members don't break from Trump, but at least one appears to have been upset by his horrific statements about Chalottesville. It was pretty clear General Kelly was unhappy while Trump was speaking.

Kushner and Ivanka were conveniently "on vacation" but it would be interesting to learn their reactions. Their rabbi was offended...

And if Lee had accepted, nobody would be asking for his statues' removal. Of course, there likely wouldn't have been statues to begin with, at least not in the South.
