With Ariza and Dekker the 3 spot is a position of strength for us but Chandler is a versatile player that can probably go from the 2-4 positions which would give us added flexibility to go big or small. Chandler is a solid player especially off the bench but he might want to go somewhere that he can start judging by the tweet above.
There's still 3 weeks until the trade deadline. Nothing will get done until it gets a little closer. Take it easy.
that was just more of a "wilson chandler's been my #1 dream pick-up and ideal fit for this team plz get it done murray" type of post
Where did Bickerstaff Jr go? Memphis? Maybe he can pull a Jedi mind trick on their GM: Bickerstaff: "Brewer is the player you want." (repeating, as if hypnotized) "Brewer is the player I want." "Brewer dropped 51 on a team." "Brewer dropped 51 on a team....(blinks) WOW! Is that true? Call Morey....be cool about it, but give them a first if you have to, we NEED Corey Brewer..."
Wilson Chandler would be a great fit in MDA's offense. Can play multiple positions. MDA loves playing small. Having someone like WChandler would be nice defensively in switches against fast paced teams.
He would definitely be a good fit here, he also played (well) for MDA in NY in the past. Just not sure about his contract (as a bench player)...yeah i know, same old boring flexibility argument, sorry
WChandler has 13M next year and then 14M the following year as a player option that he will likely decline. I would say that is a value contract in regards to the market so in my opinion flexibility would be maintained.
Wilson would fit great here at the 4 spot. He could be revitalized like Eric Gordon. Personally I think he's better than Ryan Anderson because he's a threat to score in multiple ways. When you switch on Ryno or close out hard...he can't do much else...ball usually goes back to Harden with less time on the clock.
he's probably a better overall player than Ryno bc he has a more versatile skill set but bw the two he's not a better overall fit for the way this team operates. If it came down to it I wouldn't want to just replace Ryno with just him bc I actually don't think that makes Houston any better as far as fit. But adding him to this team overall absolutely does
I actually see 12 and 13 for his next two seasons...is that right? Anyway yeah, he would eventually try to sign another deal when George expires so count me in. I think Denver asking price can be pretty big though (since i also expect more teams being after him)...they traded Afflalo expiring for a 1st pick and fillers two years ago...what are you willing to part with Deuce?
