A poem to honor the new season

    I wrote a poem to honor the beginning of the season

    (this poem talks about the worriers and is dedicated to the rockets who ruined the league last year and the stripped heroes who made it interesting)

    It's called They

    They

    NBA is boring
    no reason to watch
    thats what they said
    give the trophy to them
    before the game

    and they ended up
    with their asses handed to them
    by rockets
    and saved by the refs

    Was really feeling it until the end. Thought it was an optimistic view of the upcoming season before the last line.

    brothers and foster

    many refs have found a place
    on their worried roster

    rockets haters everywhere
    stolen MVPs

    but beard is ballin still
    and PG is hoopin big
    they gonn' ruin this league

    they gonn' run as one

    for if a man has a fixed
    voting for himself
    he cant no longer
    be called a president

    Nitpicking, but there is not a single adjective in that whole poem.

    My lame haiku attempt:

    Underestimate
    The Media always will
    Rockets will be CHAMPS
