Here is ESPN's Top 25 college football recruiting classes of 2006. I thought this would be interesting to see since this class would be seniors this year if they did not get red shirted.

    1. Florida
    2. USC
    3. UT
    4. Georgia
    5. Notre Dame
    6. Florida St
    7. Oklahoma
    8. LSU
    9. Penn St
    10. Ohio St
    11. Michigan
    12. Auburn
    13. Clemson
    14. Mississippi
    15. Oklahoma St
    16. Pittsburgh
    17. Miami
    18. Alabama
    19. UCLA
    20. Tennessee
    21. Louisville
    22. Texas A&M
    23. Maryland
    24. Virginia Tech
    25. UNC

Obviously there are other factors at play, like players leaving for the NFL early but I find it interesting to see how this turned out.

Top in the standings right now (using Rivals for recruits)
Auburn- ranked #12 on this list (and add Cam Newton)
Oregon- only had one 4 star recruit, no 5 star
TCU- No 4 or 5 start recruits
Stanford- No 4 or 5 star recruits
Wisconsin- three 4 star recruits, no 5 star

Shouldn't the best players from those recruiting class be in the NFL right now?

Uh, also, wouldn't EVERYONE from that class be gone besides redshirt seniors? Isn't 2007 the year you should be talking about?

This is always a fun way to see who does less with more. In this case, we're talking about teams like Clemson, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Pitt, UCLA, A&M, Maryland, and UNC.
