Seems like rockets can either keep Onuaku or sign one of the following:
    Danuel House
    Troy Williams
    Alessandro Gentile

I believe Vincent Edwards and Gary Clark will be two way contract.

I say just give him his token start and then "rest" (bench) him early and roll his minutes with the second team with Paul and Gordon is much as possible.

Nice. You put 3 N's in Ennis which already had 2. Subtle but nice.

This was great, but everytime I had to blink I lost my spot.

Do you think that after signing Melo, they will then trade Anderson or Gordon next?

I'm not an NBA coach or nothin' but if you shoot alot of 3s, shouldn't you have some good 3 point shooters?

I didn't pay much attention to the Magic last year, but has Afflalo fallen off that much that we haven't shown any interest? I thought Morey liked him at one point.

Sounds about the same as that theater, looks like having potential but actually so far away.

More interested in what everyone thinks will be D'Antonio's:
    - Starting 5 (Melo at the 3 or 4)
    - Bench lineup
    - 3rd Quarter (relevant because this will be what will go up against them GSW showtime blowouts) lineup
    - Closing lineup
    - 9-man playoff rotation

Here are my thoughts on the team as it currently stands today:

Creators: Generally the toughest player archetype to find in the league, and now we have 4 DYNAMIC shot creators. The possession can get disrupted and any of these 4 guys can consistently create a decent shot for himself -- we should have at least two of them on the court at a time.
    • Harden -- MVP
    • CP3 -- All-star level production but is the absolute best I've seen in terms of controlling the game. Hope he's able to unleash Melo.
    • Gordon -- borderline All-star production (no chance he makes it in the West). Hopefully he's less streaky from downtown this year but he's absolutely dynamic when he's attacking the basket
    • Melo -- can still create his shot against anyone but hopefully he's happy with primarily spotting up and picking his spots. He adds a new wrinkle to our offense that we simply didn't have last year.
Shooters: Catch and shoot 3s, some cuts (Ennis/Green) and put back/big boy buckets (PJ)
    • PJ Tucker -- mostly gets love for his toughness/defense but also shot 37% on almost 4 attempts/game last year
    • Gerald Green -- fan favorite/irrational confidence guy. Shot 37% on 7+ attempts last year.
    • James Ennis -- hopefully the great looks our offense generates helps him shoot threes at a higher rate (36% in career)
    • Ryan Anderson -- pretty much useless against the Dubs but still a deadly floor spacer that is dangerous even a few feet away from the arc (extra spacing). Hopefully he gets his confidence back; literally was starting in 2016 and the first half of 2017.
    Rim Runners/Finishers:
    • Capela -- please just re-sign and come back to the perfect role/system for you
    • Nene -- probably don't have much left in the tank
    • IH -- hope he continues to develop and show off his potential
    Others:
    • Melton -- hope he can somehow crack the rotation; could be a great 3+D guard (like Pat Bev) with more creativity off the dribble
    • MCW -- injury insurance/spot defense

Personally think we need to add another legit rim runner and another wing defender. Nene is old and IH is completely unproven. Only prototypical 3 + D guy we have is James Ennis; we need more length/perimeter quickness (Bazemore, Demarre Carroll?)

    - Starting 5: CP3, Harden, Ennis, PJ, Capela
    - Bench: EG, GG, Melo, Ryan Anderson, Nene
    - Pair Harden with EG and CP3 with Melo when staggering minutes
    - vs. Death Lineup (no Boogie): CP3, Harden, EG, Melo, PJ
    - vs. Death Lineup (w/ Boogie): CP3, Harden, EG, PJ, Capela
    - Playoff rotation...depends on who Morey trades for/picks up throughout the season ;)

Deng Adel was intriguing, admittedly. And if there was a roster spot open he'd be a good prospect to fill it. He is older however. (Maybe older than we know.) And I question how much more skill improvement he can make. All the same, he looked good against SL competition. And his defensive switchability, awareness, and quickness did stand out.
