Yeah, amazing how other guys make more points when they move the ball around more....LOL. I enjoyed seeing the ball movement, and am looking forward to seeing tonight's game. It will be interesting, but will be a totally different look. There is no way are the Warriors going to come out throwing bricks like the Lakers did. I doubt they have ever gone 2-17 to start a game. I honestly would like to see Greene out there more than Gordon. I'm tired of EGO taking more shots than everyone else, when his percentages aren't even in the top 4 in any category. If more of those 3's came from other arms we would be more efficient. Tonight he and CP3 will probably get hot again, which will be a good thing, but my beef is overall efficiency and how Gordon has become the 2nd highest shot taker on the team week after week. I will give him credit for getting more assists than usual, and for not being afraid to take the shots, but.............he isn't the most efficient, and doesn't need to take so many.
Having a pure point guard run the offense will often do that... but it was against Orlando. Nonetheless impressive showing by our squad sans Harden.
I do think Harden's usage was a bit higher than necessary. I think we'll start to see some of the layers D'Antoni was talking about
yes just like the wins against gsw, spurs, cavs, knicks, indy, bucks these guys are capable.. maybe MDA & them become too dependent & complacent when harden's playing time for each & everyone to contribute both offensively & defensively each & everygame moving forward
yeah, i can not emphasize that enough, its not like hardens some mean dude terrorizing them but 'beta personalities' may naturally retract to their shell when alpha is around
Glad to see other guys getting them some but this was against the Magic. We'll see if it works tonight. Also would like to see Green get more time. I think he has earned that time already, but he won't be able to just chunk it up there against GSW
he carried ariza, cap, ra, and ego last year to 55 wins and runner up mvp now he's leading mvp they can't simply use harden as an excuse.. its on each & everyone of them to contribute offensively & defensively night in & night out only 1 game you can truly blame harden for costing us a win.. boston game - where he pushed off a defender blatantly grabbing him - twice and made it way too obvious..
LOL. Well, his FG% and 3PT% for the year would say otherwise, but see it as you want. So, maybe he is taking too many forced shots.
He shot crappy and really took down the efficiency of the offense with his shooting. But because he's such an elite distributor he created great looks for everybody else and got us to the FT line 19 times. We were 8/17 (47%) from 3 and 16/19 from the FT line when Paul was in there and defensively we killed them when he was in there. If our second unit would have had any kind of defense in the paint we'd have win by 35. Defensively with Paul on the floor the Magic shot 16/39 from 2 (41%) 2/20 from 3 (10%). Pretty sick.
yep pretty sick props to cp3 & everyone but just curious how is this game against one of the worst teams in the league any different to the game where we beat playoffs contender indy by 23 and harden had 15 assists and 2 turnovers?
Prior to last night we have had 8 games with 6 players in double digits and near 20 with 5 players in double digits(a lot of those games had guys who were 1 point shy of making it 6.
