    To be honest, our all time team, is ****ing ridiculous and can go toe to toe with basically any other franchise.

    Paul / Lowry / Dragic (I know just about nothing regarding Calvin Murphy)
    Harden / Drexler / Martin / Artest
    Pippen / McGrady / Rice
    Barkley / Sampson / Thorpe
    Olajuwon / Malone / Yao / Mutumbo / Howard / Camby

    Our center crop is so stacked it would probably bleed over into the PFs.

    My guess will be Rockets in past 2k games:

    The '94 team + Moses, Yao, McGrady, maybe Francis, Scola and Mutombo

    -The All-Time teams are fully editable in the Roster Creator (unlike the Dream Team roster from last year).

    -You can start a 30-team All-Time MyLEAGUE. Who wins the title?

    Man, they need to up Hakeem's stats... I can't remember year but he was missing basic baskets... And I had perfect release. In one game I did score 50+ though w/ him, haha, this was 94 rockets vs 96 Bulls, Rockets won by a lot due to the other player being new.

    the 2009 team is still the best team we've had to me..... f***in injuries man...

    we were 2-3 deep at every position

    In these types of situations though, a player can only be 'claimed' by one team. The team he is most iconically known for. I'd argue it's either where: A. he played the most games, or B. he won the most rings, or C. where he played most of his prime years.

    So that rules out Paul, Lowry, Dragic, Martin, Artest, MAYBE Drexler, Pippen, Barkley, Mutombo, Howard, Camby.

    Using Basketball-Reference, here is a list of guys who are arguably "Rockets" players above anything else, who are top 10 in some sort of major stat category for the franchise (games, minutes, 2ps, 3ps, rebounds, assists):

    PG Murphy, Francis, J Lucas, K Smith, Alston, Beverley
    SG Harden, Leavell, Newlin, Floyd, Mobley, Maxwell
    SF Tomjonavich, Reid, McGrady, R Horry, Ariza, Battier
    PF E Hayes, Thorpe, Bullard, McCray, Scola
    C Olajuwon, Yao, Malone, Sampson

    There's also a Top 12 list in the franchise index of basketball reference based on Win Shares and everyone on your list is there. I'd say if it goes 15 deep it's basically the first 3 in your list, but obviously two significant changes:

    PG Murphy, Francis, J Lucas
    SG Harden, Drexler, Newlin
    SF Tomjanovich, Reid, McGrady
    PF E Hayes, Thorpe, Sampson
    C Olajuwon, Yao, Malone

    McCray is the only one with a realistic outside shot to be in since I could see issues getting Ralph to be part of the game. Newlin or Leavell, tough choice. Scola would be great, but we have him in the 08 Rockets so can put him in if we want ;)

    Wonder what they'll do about the Hornets/Pelicans. If the Pelicans only include players since the name change, their team will basically be their current roster. If the Pelicans get the players from the Hornets years, then the current Hornets will basically only get Bobcats players...

    Maybe they'll have Charlotte Hornets players on the Charlotte team and New Orleans Hornets players in the Pelicans team?

    It's pretty easy, Charlotte gets the Hornets 88-02 + 14-17 and Bobcats 04-14 which is in between. New Orleans gets some Hornets years 03-14 and Pelicans obviously. There will be a few potential overlaps with Baron Davis, Mashburn from that 00-04 period, but should be fine. Pelicans have a lot of recent players though.
