This is going to be a serious beat down. Appleseed blows another bowl game.

Can UH stop the run? Major could scheme a 40 pt offense and still lose, right?

They have a virtual defense; it seems real but it somehow never happens.

Hoping our backup quarterback will have a great game. He showed flashes of ability but was a little shaky last time out. I don't think there is any way we can control their running game but we can hope can't we? I think we will need to hang 50 on them to win and that is going to be hard to do with Army more than likely controlling the clock at least two thirds of the time.

This is brutal. Defense is non-existent, and who is calling the offensive plays?

Houston sucks fire the coach. Last few season Houston started out the season great then the last 3 or 4 games they fall apart.

The Applewhite Era is quickly sliding from dull mediocrity to complete embarrassment.

Much better game to watch on FSW High School 6A Championship Longview vs West Brook. Longview just scored and took the lead.

Game is over and it is not even half time S M H. Time for the Applewhite era to end he will never win 10 games as a coach.

I will be surprised if Applewhite survives to coach our team next season. Performances like this are absolutely devastating to our recruiting effort. Would you want your kid to play at U of H after watching this?

Reason the team won 8 games is we had a amazing QB and 2 more star players. Take away the QB Houston you have only won 4 or 5 games take the QB and one of the star players teams wins 2 or 3 games. Applewhite is not the type of coach that can take a so so team and win 9 game never happen.

Three years ago Houston beat Florida State in a major bowl game in front of 70,000 people. Major Applewhite has been the head coach in the three bowl losses since, losing to the likes of Fresno State, San Diego State, and Army...

Why spend millions and millions of dollars on a new stadium and indoor practice facilities and then settle for this guy as a head coach?

    Now a basketball school. ;)

Many complain about & don't like the coaches leaving after 2-3 years but give me Kevin Sumlin, Tom Herman and the coach that leaves after 2/3 great years over the Tony Levine & Major Applewhite.

No one's coming to hire Major so at least UH gets to keep him, right?

I thought we would probably lose this game but not 56-7 with still time left in the 3Q. I don't think even Tony Levine has this type of a lopsided embarrassing loss on his resume.
