About that time again. No 1st rounder this year but BoB still has a considerable amount of picks to work with.

    Projected Picks:
    2nd Rounder
3rd Rounder (projected compensatory pick for Honey Badger)
3rd Rounder (projected compensatory pick for KJax)
    4th Rounder
    4th Rounder (from Miami)
    5th Rounder
7th Rounder (compensatory pick for Covington)

Pre- FA Needs: CB, S, WR

One of those 3rds will be going to Cleveland for Duke

Considering how b.o.b changes the 'week to week' so drastically when fuller is a full go or no go,
    I'd go WR 2nd, Rb 3rd and CB 3rd

Henry Ruggs III, runs a 4.25 and can run the routes/
    A J Terrell cb/
    Travies Etienne rb

Believe that’s already been accounted for. We had our own that went to Cleveland and another from the Clowney deal that went to Oak.

The compensatory picks haven’t been awarded yet.

How do we get one for Kareem when we signed Roby?

Read that his contract didn’t meet the threshold to wipe it out. Not exactly sure how that all works.

Im almost certain it’s a compensatory 3rd that goes to Cleveland if Duke was active for 10 games. Was a 4th initially

I say we still need offensive linemen. Not sure about a center but I have always been a fan of Tyler Biadacz(?).

Comp picks don’t get awarded until after the season and don't think you’re allowed to trade compensatory picks until then.

Believe it was our own 3rd that went to Cleveland and the other from Seattle that went to Oakland. Whether we get a comp pick for Kareem seems to be in question somewhat.

It looks like you’re right, I swear I saw it was compensatory. I know they don’t get awarded til after season but since the agreement was conditional I didn’t know if they could arrange the deal.
Well know soon enough what picks we have

Tua declared. Doesn’t really effect the Texans directly but the more QBs taken early the better, push other positions down to us.

Hopefully they get a comp 3rd for both KJax/HB. If they do my early mock would look like this.

Rd.2 K.J. Hamler WR Pennis St.
Rd.3 Davon Hamilton DT Ohio St.
Rd. 3 Bradlee Anae Edge Utah
Rd.4 Cam Akers RB Fla St.
    Rd.4 Lynn Bowden WR Kentucky
Rd.5 Scott France OT Kansas St.
Rd.7 Rodarius Williams CB Oklahoma St.

Biggest needs are pass rush (edge) and DBs (since JJ may retire and Roby may not sign back). We need a WR replacement for Fuller but after our first two picks it might be hard to find a WR better than our current depth.

I think they bring back Roby.

He's said he wants to be here.

His agent may have a different opinion. ;)

I will be surprised if Roby doesn't sign the highest paying contract put in front of him. The question is whether the Texans will be the highest bidder.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully they can fit him in the salary budget. Roby has been excellent and will be due a nice long term deal. Didn’t he sign a 1 year 10 million dollar deal with the Texans as a price it season?

Or will it be another Honey badger situation, and they just let him walk.
