The new jerseys are an improvement. • FONT: It is better, but to nitpick, it could be a bit less thick and have more room between the lettering. I prefer the font treatment on the black jerseys. That said, I am glad they made the changes as the font on the previous jersey was thin and underwhelming. • Arm circles: Undecided how I feel on that. I think they probably could have done without that design element • Side panel: Looks good. Especially how it connects with the shorts • Shorts look good. The side panel is like the exhaust of a rocket taking off and pluming out. Connects well with the tops. • Glad the new secondary logo is NOT on these unis. Just the R logo. • I like that they used black on the red jerseys as an alternate color versus the previous grey. Makes them sharper. • Glad the black jerseys from last year remain. They are strong. • 80's jerseys. I am really happy for the fans of these nostalgia jerseys that they released them. They do nothing for me, so whatever. • Would love to see the Red/Gold treatment on the new updated style jerseys.
These jerseys look to be an improvement but I was really hoping for a new logo (or better still a return to the classic logo). And I'd definitely have loved to have seen a return to the ketchup and mustard of old. That weird pinkish red they use that looks like my red shirts that get faded in the laundry really needs to go. But I'll quit complaining. Overall I'm happy to have taken a step in the right direction.
Yes, I assume a new court is in order. The current court has the gothic/Chinese style font. That font is currently no more. The also announced a Chinese lunar new year alternative court in their press release.
Would swap whites for the Gray checkered. Swap red for classic ketchup & mustard. Keep the black checkered then add new blue & red retro.
I like them all, glad they changed the shorts and the font. If we aren't changing the main logo at least make everything else much nicer and don't use it big anywhere
I wouldn’t mind if they got rid of the white jersey and replace it with the gray jersey. Red, black, gray, classic.
