Trump is part of the story, so that's kinda unavoidable. What he did was disgusting. But its about the criminal justice system in a broader sense. If a few factual points about trump being involved upsets you, I suggest you toughen up cupcake.
Has nothing to do with "toughening up" kid. I see enough Trump bashing happenstantially. I'm not going to purposely watch it.
I need to give that another shot. I had started it but the episodes just seemed to drag out way too long and I lost interest after the 3rd. I've heard it's coming to an end so I'd like to see how it plays out. For as corny as it is, I'm enjoying Schitt's Creek. Gotten to season 3 so far.
Completely random, but I've always had a soft spot for adventure travel reality type shows. There is one right now I like called The Brigade: Race to the Hudson. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10238736/ http://www.outdoorchannel.com/show/the-brigade/357519 If that's your cup of tea style wise, give it a try. I'm enjoying it.
It’s definitely a slow burn and a bit hard to hold your attention. Schitts Creek is great but lost my attention a few seasons in.
Just watched Euphoria on hbo. I'm not exactly sure what its supposed to be or who its geared towards. Its only the first episode but it seems like a show purely for shock value. Drug addicted, sexed crazed gender fluid teens with fluffy dry dialogue and no direction. In every scene I was asking "why is this happening?" Like there's a twelve year old drug dealer selling drugs to high school kids, why? A whole bunch of dicks, why? Nothing makes sense but I'm gonna keep watching just to see if the lead character dies
I just found “Black Spot” (“Zone Blanche” or “White Zone” in French) on Netflix last night and I’m worried I’m gonna be up late binging it. It’s French and has been dubbed into English. I’ve only watched the first episode thus far but 2 seasons are available. It’s very heavily inspired by “Twin Peaks” and has great visuals.
This isn't a new show, but just started watching "The Rain" (Netflix). Interesting premise (the rain, and water in general) has been infected. Like "The 100", the main characters are mostly teenagers, and the young cast is pretty good. The main character is played by actress that reminds me of Julia Stiles, one of my favorite underrated actresses.
