I believe he has a minor heart issue, not considered to be serious

I know it's not popular but I don't care. I'd try to trade further back in the first round. Draft Greg Little and pick up a late 2nd or mid 3rd rounder (Idk how the point system works for draft trades).

It takes two to trade, where both participants see the value of it.
I'm actually thinking #23 might have some second tier quarterback value, There are a boatload of players ranked in the 50's I'd love to have.

Yeah it’s going to be hard to trade down. Most of the “experts” say this draft is loaded with 2nd tier talent. I doubt teams are going to be willing to give up 2nd rounders to move up a few spots.

I don't see Love as anything more than special teams due to his injury history and would not take him before the 5th round. David Montgomery and Trayveon Williams would be better picks.

I'm not trying to pick a fight - this isn't me attacking you or anything, but I'll be shocked if he's ever more than a backup. I really wanted to like him when I started watching - he was the first guy I started watching video of - but I was just overwhelmed by how normal he was. When you watch him side by side with someone like Josh Jacobs, it is glaring exactly what he is lacking in terms of physical tools. He's not bad by any means, but he seems to me to be the epitome of "just another guy" who was in the perfect position in college, both in terms of opportunity, and the ZBS that Kentucky runs.

Honestly, I think running back is probably the most shallow position in this draft. Maybe a couple of change of pace guys but I think you can count on one hand the number of guys who could in a perfect world become NFL bell cow feature backs.

Yes, but anywhere from 3rd round and beyond he would be a good pick.

I just realized that we have less than one week until we are underway.

TV coverage of the first round starts next Thursday (the 25th) starting at 8pm.

I'm embarrassed to admit I get more excited for the draft than I do for some of the regular season games.

Ok, that's fair. I don't think I'd draft a reserve/specialist guy that I didn't expect to be a full time starter before the 4th or 5th, but tomayto, tomahto. I don't see a possible situation where he is a total disaster of a wasted pick baring injury. I think from his point of view, he'd probably be better off with a ZBS team that does RB by committee, teams like the Pats or KC come to mind.

No it’s not picking a fight. We’re literally here to discuss and that’s what we’re doing. Your opinion is respected.

I don’t see him as a every down back but I do see him be able to contribute and right away. He’s a sleeper to me. I’m also hoping we can get our hands on Jalen Hurd since he’s able to be a WR/RB.

At the very least we can probably count on him to be our new Alfred Blue. Maybe even better than Blue.

I could see O'Brien wanting Hurd since he likes size and speed and has always tried to find that Swiss army knife kind of guy.

Pass. He needs to be able to run, catch, return, throw, punt, hold, and mow the grass.
