    From ESPN:
Pre-Draft Analysis Crawford is an undersized corner with short arms who ran well at the combine and exceptionally well at his pro day. He reads the quarterback and plays the ball, not the man. He competes in press coverage, but his short arms make it tougher for him to gets his hands on receivers. Crawford is faster than he is quick, but he's an erratic tackler who gets stuck on blocks.

4.48 at the combine. 4.30 at his pro day.

You want someone to stay with TY Hilton? There you go...

Rankings dont mean much, but ESPN has Kris Boyd as 12th ranked CB and Xavier Crawford as the 33rd ranked THere were 13 other CBs on the board ranked higher... cmon that seems like a reach. Why do we have to act like we are smarter than everyone??

I love it. One scouting report says: short arms, not good at press coverage or getting off blocks...Lance says: long, press corner.

    McShay:
On tape, good job limiting production after the catch
Only 2 interceptions in his career
    Inconsistent getting off blocks
Lets see if we can get use out of him on ST/develop him as 3rd/4th corner down the road

Xavier Crawford is a baller. Think he can be a valuable nickel in this league. My 95th overall player. Good pick by the Texans.

Xavier Crawford allowed just 0.53 yards per snap in coverage last season – and he's one of two Central Michigan cornerbacks in our top 15 CBs for the 2019 NFL Drafthttps://t.co/Zs8SD1VOgJ pic.twitter.com/ki6S1GwB8X

That’s my guy. Played with him at OSU great pick and steal

At the NFL scouting combine, Texans sixth-round corner Xavier Crawford ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds with a 37 1/2 inch vertical leap. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 to 4.40 seconds at his Pro Day.

With the 195th pick, the @HoustonTexans add another potential steal in Central Michigan CB Xavier Crawford! As PFF's No. 110 prospect, Crawford was the 9th-best player available.

I am a little higher on the Texans new CB Xavier Crawford than others appear to be. I thought he was a solid 5th rounder and should offer good depth at CB as a long, press CBhttps://t.co/HbSe6lIOMS

Wonder if he can play safety, since hes good at reading the qb, not quick but fast, and has a hard time getting off blocks?

It's interesting how much corners have skewed big in just the last 3 or 4 years.

    Crawford 5'11" 187lbs.

    Jonathan Joseph 5'11" 185lbs
    Kareem Jackson 5'10" 196lbs
    Aaron Colvin 5'11" 177 lbs

    Those are all combine numbers.

Texans didn't have huge corners last year, but did you view them as a collection of pint sized little people?

Four years ago, this guy is a perfectly normal sized corner.

Look at how many corners ESPN ranked lower (or not even ranked at all) ended up going ahead of Boyd. We know the Texans wanted to improve their man coverage and without knowing much about Crawford, I can tell you Boyd wasn’t going to help in this department.

    A 6th round pick wasted?

I did not see that coming.

Next, someone will be saying that all of those Undrafted Free Agents that the Texans signed are also wasted.
